40 TH ANNIVERSARY AUCTION
We will be having a 40th anniversary auction on Saturday, May 18th at our Tokyo Gotanda office.
The preview will be held from May 11th (Saturday) to May 17th (Friday) at New Art Est West Gotanda Sale Room. You can enter freely. We also have some small gifts for you, so please feel free to come visit us.
From Western art, rare and valuable works will be exhibited, such as Lalique's ?Daffodil Vase? created by Cille Perdu, and Part de Verre's "Woman and Seaweed Tray" by Albert Dammeuse. In addition, we have Art Nouveau glass works such as Daum and Galle, as well as Art Deco works such as Meissen.
In the jewelry section, we have a 2.765 ct high-quality diamond ring, a 49.10 ct ruby necklace and earrings, and other antique jewelry.
Among Japanese and Oriental art, historical and valuable pieces like Ito Shinsui's "Mayuzumi", and Yokoyama Taikan's "Moon Over the Beach", and "Wakaura Hiyoshi Sanno Festival Folding Screen" which is thought to have been painted in the early Edo period will be auctioned. Other valuable Japanese and Oriental antiques are lined up as well.
Contemporary & Modern Art will exhibit Yayoi Kusama's acrylic works. In addition, we have well known artists such as Bernard Buffet, Klimt, Brasilier, and Vlaminck too. There are a wide selection of other notable contemporary artists as well.
