Description
A most unusual rhino horn ball and pink gold cane. The rhino horn ball handle is 1 3/4" in diameter and it sits atop a 1" gold cup/collar that is London hallmarked for 9k. The ball has a dulled finish from many years of handling. The shaft is blond malacca with a 1 1/4" horn ferrule. The overall length is 36" and the condition is very good. It is ca 1880, and it is a very nice rhinoceros horn example not usually seen in a ball handle configuration. Estimate: $1000-$1500.
