HongShan Foundation

The Hongshan culture, comprised of a group of Neolithic peoples who lived in the far north-east, in what is modern-day Liaoning province and Inner Mongolia, created a sophisticated society and erected elaborate ceremonial sites. Excavations of their temples and tombs have revealed carved Jade and Iron-Meteorite heavy stone objects. We have been collecting HongShan Culture Period items for more than 40 years, During the HongShan Culture Period, the tooling methods were more advanced than most scholars give the culture credit Many items that are carved and decorated in such a manner that it would be extremely difficult even today to replicate working with the most advanced shop tools and while working under magnification (let alone the absolutely beautiful and creative artistry). Most items showing a special HongShan culture Totem, that is respected by a group of people, especially for religious reasons; they are precious and sacred collection, the symbol that serves as an emblem of a group of people, such as a family, clan, lineage, or tribe.
