FREE-BLOWN AND GAUFFERED SMOKE BELLS, LOT OF THREE, comprising a fiery opalescent example with applied cobalt blue rim and glass ring hanger, period chain; an opal example with pale rose ground and polychrome decoration, applied fiery opalescent glass ring hanger, base with three holes for prisms; and a blue example with deep acid-etched bird and branch decoration, applied colorless glass ring hanger. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. Second half 19th century. 6 7/8" to 7 1/4" HOA, 4 7/8" to 5 3/8" D base.
