Framed fiber collage comprised of differing fibers attached to a single base layer of fabric with machine-sewn colored thread and strips of ribbon, on a single-fabric base by Jan Hartley. Signed in hand-stitched thread along the lower right. Depicting a mountainside with trumpet horns and rays of light protruding from the exterior of the image in an angelic-like fashion. Wear is consistent with material and age, including piling of the surface, pet hair, an area of slightly outwardly bulging fabric, and tiny threads protruding from the ends, likely where the artist transitioned onto the next color plane. Artwork not examined outside of frame.
