Photograph by Cecil Beaton and bearing his credit stamp to the verso. Signed by both individually in fountain pen inks, the Duke adding the date 1941 in his hand. The signatures are a little light and with weaker contrast. Also annotated in the Duke's hand to the verso 'Best wishes for Xmas 1942'. Together with Prince Henry (1900-1974) Duke of Gloucester. Vintage signed 8 x 6 photograph of the Duke standing outdoors in a three quarter length profile pose, shaking the hand of a military officer. Photograph by Reader & Ward of Aldershot.
