Mahogany Doric form arch-top mantel clock with open escapement by Howard & Co, Boston, 8 date time and strike movement, 13"H X 9"W. Key present in customer file.
Condition: Replaced back plate.
From the collection of the late Anthony "Tony" Orlando Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Anthony Orlando began collecting carousel horses around 1970. A commercial artist by training. He became the full time restorer of Americana in 1974. His first big project was to restore Greenfield Village's carousel. He was considered one of the best restorers in the country. He was currently working on the re-restoration of the carousel when he passed.
