Description

This is a stunning sterling silver lidded loving cup made before 1920. This cup would make a wonderful trophy for any equine event with its styling and exceptional horse and jockey finial, best of all, this piece is not engraved, meaning it can be used today or anytime in the future. The trophy is approx. 11 ¼” in height to the top of the finial, approx. 13” handle to handle, approx. 8 ½” high (to the top of the lid), and weighs approx. 48 troy ounces. The bottom has the maker’s stamp. “The Bailey Banks & Biddle Co. Philadelphia Reproduction Charles II Gold Cup London 1680 Original Owned by Corporation of Oxford”.
