A unique Navajo rug, second quarter of the 20th century. Woven of native handspun wool with aniline dye, a stylized maltese cross pattern is achieved through opposing concentric triangles in red and yellow bordered on all sides in ivory and black with a band of gray at either end; 45 ½ x 33 inches
