Description

CAHOON NO. 1 BURNER, kerosene period, thumbwheel and cast brass finger hold are stamped "TOM THUMB / DIRIGO", and on top of thumb rest "CHA'S W. CAHOON / PAT'D FEB. 19th. & DEC. 3rd 1861", appropriate lip chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 6 1/4" h overall.

Undamaged except for light rust and corrosion to wick holder, resoldering to finger hold
