Lot of Three Figural Studies
One inscribed "caracci" l.r., one inscribed "Tiziano" l.r., one inscribed "Scuola
Francese" l.l.
Ink and crayon on paper, approximate sheet sizes to 13 3/8 x 11 in. (34.0 x 27.9 cm), unframed.
Condition: Adhered to supporting sheets of paper at corners, soiling/staining, toning, one with scattered surface losses.


Provenance: The estate of John Elliott, Newport, Rhode Island, and Rome.

Condition report

The drawings are mounted at their corners to blue paper. The toning is even and unobtrusive, as are the staining and fox marks. There are minor handling marks and creases. The surface losses may be from silverfish or similar.
