MEISSEN BLANC DE CHINE PORCELAIN FIGURES, COUNT MARCOLINI PERIOD, 1774-1814, PAIR, H 17 1/2":Allegorical figures of summer and autumn, each standing atop a separate base, all marked in blue underglaze with crossed swords with dot below, incised 1715 or 1716.

Condition as follows: summer figure appears to be in good condition, though not inspected under blacklight, the base has a 1" flake at the center (before glazing); autumn figure with probable restoration to the top of the grape branch, the base also having minor chips to the center of the base, again not viewed under blacklight. Chs Also with obvious repair/separation at the lower quarter of the branch; the other base has some slight chips at the top portion. RG
