Description
REUBEN D. SUTER (ATTRIBUTED), ROCKINGHAM CO., VA DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE MINIATURE JUG, brushed cobalt triple tulip and leaf decoration on front and "R.D.S." under the base, lacking handle but retaining the lower terminal which features a simulated screw-head attachment. Attributed to Emanuel Suter's son, Reuben, New Erection Pottery. 1875-1890. 3 3/4" h, 5/8" dia mouth, 1 3/4" dia base.
