STAMPED "E. SUTER.", ROCKINGHAM CO., VA SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE JAR, "2" gallon capacity stamp, maker's stamp with period at end of name and without a frame, semi-ovoid form with squared rim and two handles. Attributed to Emanuel Suter, New Erection Pottery. 1866-1880. 10 1/2" h, 7 5/8" dia rim.
