VERY RARE STAMPED "JOHN WALKER", WASHINGTON, D.C. DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE PITCHER, "1" gallon capacity stamp, brushed cobalt swags below rim and two sweeping flowers around shoulder, additional cobalt surrounds the handle terminals, pronounced foot. Second quarter 19th century. 10" h, 4 7/8" dia rim, 6 1/2" dia base.

As-found condition, handle broken into three pieces and glued with associated 1/2" V-shape loss to side, wear and several small chips to rim, chip under edge of base, area of wear below spout and light wear on shoulder
