Description
FREDERICK CO., VA SILK EMBROIDERY PANEL, depicting a basket of flowers raised on a low pedestal, on a silk foundation, contemporary mat and frame. With much historical information attached to the frame reverse. Attributed to Mary Floyd Gold (b. c.1782-d. 1826), second wife of Daniel Gold (b. 1781-d.1852), Winchester, VA native and politician. First quarter 19th century. 12 3/4" x 10" sight, 19" x 16" overall.
