Two Chinese export plates

village scenes in sepia, grisaille, gilt plume pattern on rim with cartouches of coastal scenes, birds, 18th or 19th century, 7-3/4 in. One with 1/8 in. rim chip, wear to gilt especially at rim, some surface wear, scratches. Provenance: Private Collection, Charlotte, North Carolina
