elaborately inlaid with floral, urn and fan inlays with mother-of-pearl highlights, hood and waisted case with fluted columns with bronze capitals, silvered and brass dial marked "Elliott London" and "Whittington Westminster" and "Chimes Silent" and "Strike Silent", painted moon dial, musical works fitted with nine chimes, one chime marked "Harris & Harrington Patent 1900", beveled glass door and sides, three weights and pendulum, circa 1900, 102-3/4 x 24 x 16-3/4 in. In very good condition overall, case with old dry varnished surface, minor tarnishing to silver dial, one chime does not hang properly, very minor surface flaws to case. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Milton Stephens, Greenville, South Carolina
