Five African American Figural Ceramics, Including Uncle Tom and Eva, 7" polychrome painted Staffordshire figure of Uncle Tom and Eva, PLUS a polychrome painted tobacco jar in the form of a melon with African American gentleman in top hat with umbrella seated atop, marked on base with impressed numbers and likely German, ca 1870s, 9" high, PLUS polychrome glazed desk set with African American gentleman in top hat with banjo seated, marked on base with impressed numbers and likely German, ca 1870s, 4.5" high, x 5.5" wide, PLUS bisque polychrome painted planter with American gentleman, marked on base with impressed numbers and likely German, ca 1870s, 5.5" high, AND polychrome painted bisque comic outhouse figural group with rabbit on roof, unmarked but likely German.

Condition report

1st minor chips on flowers and hairlines; 2nd slight loss of paint, small chip on base, covered by lid with line in same, VG-; 3rd tiny flake on brim of hat, else VG; 4th slight paint loss to hair, else VG; 5th VG+.
