Frank Lloyd Wright Letter Signed UACC PADA
Description
American architect, one of the most influential of all time, he was the creator of so-called organic architecture utilizing novel shapes and incorporating his buildings into their settings. Scarce typed letter signed, one page, oblong quarto, Taliesin [Spring Green, WI], Nov. 9, 1946. Letter is addressed to Joyce Turner in Chicago regarding Wright's celebrated home and workshop and reads in full: "My dear Miss Turner, Meyer Levin did something on Taliesin in Coronet when we were just starting this cultural enterprise, and it might be nice to have the progress we've made recorded, but we are leaving for our camp in Arizona on the fifteenth. Now is a poor time to photograph Taliesin Midwest so perhaps next June?". A great letter mentioning Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright's celebrated home and workshop. It is also interesting to note how Wright even cares about the aestetics of how his masterpiece Taliesin is photographed. Signed, "Frank Lloyd Wright". Accompanied by the original decorated transmittal envelope. In excellent condition.
