Adrian Paul Allinson, ROI, RBA, LG, PS (1890-1959) Still Life with White Lilac, Pink and Golden Tulips in a Blue Vase with a Golden Buddha signed lower right "Allinson" oil on canvas 68 x 55cm Provenance: Private collection, Kent Adrian Allinson was a painter, sculptor, draughtsman and poster designer. He initially studied medicine but gave this up to study art at the Slade School of Fine Art from 1910-1912, where he was a member of a notable group of students working under Henry Tonks, Philip Wilson Steer, Fred Brown and Walter Westley Russell. He taught drawing and painting at Westminster School.
