The Tientsin street scene and the three-storied gate from this drawing were both used in the lithograph, plate 31, from Ansichten Aus Japan, China und Siam die Preussische Expedition Nanch Ost-Asien,, large folio, published in Berlin in 1864 by R. von Decker. Von Pfeifer was an artist with the Prussian Embassy to East Asia in 1859-60. Exhibited at the Mandarin Hotel, Hong Kong, 1991.
