first edition, title in red and black, 24 engraved figures (printed on 3 plates) cut and tipped into text at appropriate places, lacking b1 (imprimatur leaf) as often, b2 (Contents) trimmed at head but no loss to text), very lightly soiled, Macclesfield copy with small embossed stamp at head of title and subsequent leaf and bookplate on front pastedown, eighteenth century mottled calf, gilt, spine gilt in compartments with red morocco label, rubbed, spine chipped at head, [Fulton 72' Wing B3985], 8vo, Oxford, William Hall for Richard Davis, 1666.
