Pair of poured wax dolls-baby and child. 10 1/2" Baby dressed in ivory silk satin gown trimmed with metallic lace and tassels. Condition: age deterioration on silk. 12" Standing child dressed in simple ivory wool tunic trimmed with fringe and (replaced) rope belt with tassels. Condition: moth damage to tunic. Crown of thorns on head has disturbed the curls on top of head. 1 finger broken. Both of these dolls have poured wax shoulderheads, stationary blue glass eyes, open mouths with 2 teeth showing. They have very tight blonde HH curls glued to their heads. They have similar faces. Cloth bodies with wax lower arms in the the same position; wax lower legs.
