Autograph Note Signed, "Walter Scott 23 April," in ink on fine-laid paper, no year, [Paris], paper measures 4.25" x 6.5", Very Fine. Addressed to Mr. McAllister in 23 Rue St. Honore, in full: "Sir, Will you do me the favor to call at three o'clock tomorrow..." Darkly penned and signed, with a small seal tear at the bottom blank integral leaf. Mounting residue along left edge on the back, otherwise very fine. Housed in gilt-lettered custom presentation album.
Walter Scott (1771-1832), Scottish Novelist, Poet, Historian. Known for his narrative poem, "Lady of the Lake" (1810) and the novel "Rob Roy" (1819) and "Ivanhoe" (1819).
