This original Albumen print measures 8.5" x 7 1/8" (216 x 180 mm), with its original mount measuring 13.5" x 10.5" and with a U.S. Reserve stamp, having an ink cancellation, dated "Jun. 1865". This photo portrait was taken from an engraved portrait of Lincoln, likely after the photo by Anthony Berger, of the Brady Gallery, Washington, c. February of 1864. A wonderful image. An accompanying large size envelope has a statement written upon it that may relate to the provenance of this photo.
