1864 "Union Presidential Ticket" for Lincoln and Johnson, from Davis County, Ohio, with Colorful American Flags Printed at top and both sides, Choice Extremely Fine.
Measuring about 8" x 5," this colorful campaign ticket is printed in red, blue and brown. This classic 1864 presidential ballot has been altered so that Montgomery County, Ohio, is lined out and "Davis County" is written in ink. The ticket has the slogan, "The Union - It Must and Shall be Preserved", printed in red across the top, with an eagle, two flags and implements of war below. In the center are the names of the candidates, Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson, and below is a list of electors. This flyer is in excellent condition, very clean and bright printing. This is a Very Rare Civil War Presidential Campaign souvenir. A similar item sold in EAHA Auction, May 28, 2007, for $445.
