Artist Information: Siobhán McDonald lives and works in Dublin. Born in New York and brought up in Monaghan, she trained in Belfast, Amsterdam, and New York. She has shown extensively in Ireland, New York and Belfast. Her work is in important public and private collections in Ireland, Europe, and the United States. Her tactile process is multi-layered saturated with Japanese inks, resin, bees wax and oil paint to create surfaces of relief and ambiguity.
