WRIGGLE WORK COFFEE POT.
Pennsylvania, 1st half-19th century, tin. Rare coffee pot with pierced lid and foot, the latter having pierced hearts. The body is decorated with fanciful wriggle work flowers. Applied spout and handle. Minor imperfections. 14"h. Ex Edwa Wise.
A similar coffee pot is owned by the Philadelphia Museum of Art and is pictured in The Pennsylvania German Collection, Philadelphia Museum of Art, pg. 145, fig. 23.
