SET OF SIX BAMBOO WINDSOR SIDE CHAIRS.
Attributed to the Tracy family, Connecticut, early 19th century, mixed woods. Exaggerated bamboo turnings, shaped seats and bulbous stretchers. Refinished with traces of white and black paint. 16 1/2"h. average seats, 34 1/2" - 36"h overall. Ex Wayne Pratt.

Family of chair makers in Lisbon township, New London County, Connecticut, late 18th/early 19th century. Woods are maple, poplar and most likely oak.
