oak throughout in old dark surface, original lid and butterfly iron hinges, interior with three small drawers, front inscribed "LM 1745", engraved brass escutcheon, 12 x 25-1/2 x 17-3/4 in. Old surface with scattered wear, stains and abrasions, replaced escutcheon. Provenance: A Memphis, Tennessee Collection
