Allan", oil on canvas, British, late 19th/early 20th century, 12 x 20 in.; modern gilt wood and composition French style frame. Restretched on old stretcher, lined with wax and linen, crackle, light grime, retouch primarily in sky and bottom left corner affecting 20 percent of surface, parts of signature heightened (A and L); frame with abrasions.
