Description
Reverend John Goldsbury (b. 1795) graduated at Brown University in 1820; commenced the study of divinity at Harvard College in 1821, under Professors Ware, Norton, and Willard, taught in Taunton Academy, ordained in North Bridgewater in 1827, became pastor of the Congregational Church and Society in Hardwick, later was a master at the Cambridge high school. Archive includes one diary from Rev. Goldsbury for 1859, and seventeen (17) by his grandson Paul. W. Goldsbury (1880-1938).
