c. late 1800's Miniature Oak Split Buttocks Basket

Miniature oak-split buttocks basket, very tightly woven, small hand drawn oak splits, excellent patina, with crisscross decoration in middle. Overall very fine, with minor splint loss, else a wonderful example of a miniature basket. Size: 3-½" from bottom to top of handle, 2" from bottom to rim.
