ABT: Scarce Lionel Uncatalogued #1144 Transformer

Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the seldom seen and uncatalogued #1144 Transformer that Lionel made in the middle 1960s. Identified in the Lionel Service Manual; it is similar to #1044 but as a cost-saving measure had the typical whistle-control Lever substituted with a large orange Directional-Control button and an adhesive label on top instead of a metal plate.
