Stakenborg Fine Art

Stakenborg Fine Art is a unique art resource located in the heart of Sarasota and home to a dynamic collection of paintings, drawings, prints, and ceramics created by artists of great renown. The work found at Stakenborg Fine Art is a diverse selection of art spanning over four centuries, ranging from Durer to Rauschenberg. Christian Stakenborg has been an art dealer and consultant for over 25 years. After pursuing a degree in fine art, and continuing his studies in art history and museum science, Christian was a foreign language docent at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, where he conducted tours in English, German, and Dutch. With gallery experience in the Washington DC area and in Sarasota, he has assisted in the forming of art collections in the USA, Europe and Asia.
