Australian-born and bred, Duncan Schieb has what they call a true “Australian Wanderlust.” He was born in a small cattle town about seven hours drive northwest of Sydney, where as a 12-year old,started calling live auctions for his father’s cattle trading and real estate company. From that time, he has traveled the world and lived in the UK, Hong Kong, across Australia and now in New York City. Duncan is widely admired as an excellent presenter and his natural ability to energize a room is the result of his 20+ years of experience as a live auctioneer and M.C., having called over 8,000 auctions. In addition to auctioneering, Duncan works as a professional Master of Ceremonies at corporate and private events, acts as a correspondent for numerous radio programs “down under”, runs a real estate consulting business, and is currently the auctioneer on the upcoming season of The Style Network’s “Clean House” television program premiering nationally in the US in October 2011. Duncan moved to New York from Sydney in 2010 to marry his American wife Stephanie. He is a team member of the New York Magpies, the city’s official Aussie Rules Football team.
