OUR MODE OF OPERATION We are a hands-on business. We promise to work with you from the time we first meet to the time you receive your proceeds check. OUR MARKETING & ADVERTISING EXPERTISE Mike was in the Marketing and Advertising business from 1970 to 1997. Mike will have input in trade publication ads, flyers and catalogs promoting the auction. Also, we will send out Online Newsletters to over 500,000 email addresses of collectors and potential bidders 2 weeks prior to each auction. All of these components put together will help in getting top dollar for each and every item in your collection. OUR BIDDERS SUPPORT In addition to live bidding at the auction site, bidders can bid live by phone or live on the Internet. We have had as many as 5,000 people signed up to bid online or leave absentee bids prior to the auction. OUR RESULTS We hold many records in prices realized of several categories of Antiques and Collectibles. Please view the “Prices Realized” page of this site for examples CONFIDENTIALITY Should you prefer, we will not divulge the name(s) of any of our consignors. COMMISSION Our commission rate varies between 5% and 20% based on the value of your collection. SHIPPING We will arrange all shipping from your location to our climate-controlled warehouse or the auction site. Your items will be professionally packed and shipped and you will incur only the actual cost with no markup. INSURANCE We carry insurance on all of the items we have in our possession beginning from the time we pick them up to the time the ownership is transferred to the winning bidder. REFERRAL FEE Eckles Auction Brokers will pay generous fees to anyone informing us of a significant collection being considered for the auction arena and eventually being contracted with us.
