Annual Thanksgiving Antiques Auction
Our annual Thanksgiving Antiques Auction will feature over 30 works of art and other interesting items from the estate of Evelyn Bodfish Bourne. Born in 1892 Ms. Bourne was a noted artist who studied with Provincetown Art Association founders Hawthorne and Moffett and at the National Academy of Design. Her works are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Provincetown AA, Vassar College, Salons of America and the Art Institute of Chicago. Also of note are works by WP Bodfish (father of Evelyn), FH Shapleigh, Wendell Rogers, Frank Vining Smith, F Fenetti, CD Cahoon, Arthur Diehl, Umberto Romano, Henry Lee, John Hare, William Littlefield, Dorothy Loeb, Jerome Howes, Robert Salmon, Louis Sylvia, Harold Kenworthy, William Maynard, Helen Grose, Bryant Chapin, H Day, Richard Rourke, Morgan Dennis, Chaim Gross, Bill Freeman, Greta Allen, W. Preston, George Lance, Benjamin Champney, and signed Frank Stella silk screen prints (5/100 1968, artist proof 1967 and 5/100 1968)
