Bert Padell and Stanley Weston Collections

Geppi's Memorabilia Road Show is proud to present two premier collections from Bert Padell and Stanley Weston. Padell's incredible 1500 piece collection comes from his Yankee Batboy years in 1949-50 and his time as financial advisor to the stars. The 1000+ Weston collection came from years with THE RING Magazine and was featured at Madison Square Garden in the Boxing Hall of Fame. Never-to-see-again baseball, boxing, entertainment and historical items. Included is a 1918 Boston Red Sox agreement with Babe Ruth signed by both Ruth and Sox owner Harry Frazee and many other original Babe Ruth offerings. Jack Norworth's original handwritten lyrics to "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", Roberto Clemente's fist contract, a Joe DiMaggio game used bat - 1950 World Series, Yankees team signed ball, a full set of the Yankees 1935 player contracts including Lou Gehrig, and a turnstile from Ebbets Field. With more than 400 Joe DiMaggio, Rusty Staub, Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Thurman Munson, Willie Mays, Casey Stengel, Yogi Berra items the auction will also feature Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Faye Dunaway. Jimmy Durante and many other movie star memorabilia. The sale showcases hundreds of Burris Jenkins Original Drawings along with Leroy Neiman, Peter Max and Andy Warhol. This sale features an extensive collection of museum quality historical pieces such as the George Washington signature, the 1864 General George A. Custer handwritten loyalty letter, John Wilkes Booth, Abraham Lincoln and many other Civil War period autographs. Geppi’s will feature rare early boxing pieces such as the Jem Mace Championship Belt, 1916 Jack Johnson Signed Confession Letter, full tickets to fights of Joe Louis and autographed boxing gloves with signatures of Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, John L. Sullivan, James Braddock, James J. Corbett, Ezzard Charles, Tyson, Ali and more. Adding to these two collections are items directly consigned from Brooks Robinson, Hawk Taylor, and Charlie Silvera.
