If you can not attend the live auction in person, you can register online and pre-sale bids up until 24 hours before the auction. These pre-sale bids will then be included in the live auction. To begin, please REGISTER - Registration is free and lets you receive updates and create a wish list using the lot alert feature. You will need to provide your credit card details for secure verification. Once registered, simply SIGN IN with your email and password for each auction. Leiden Auctioneer will email you an invoice after the auction, but it is your responsibility to confirm if you were successful. Pre-sale Competitive Bidding Pre-sale bidding allows competitive real-time bids before the physical auction starts. Bidders can view the highest current bid on our website catalog and receive ˜outbid notifications by email. When pre-sale bidding closes, the highest bids carry over to the live auction. Remember, pre-sale bids are final and cannot be changed. For online bidding, clients must register, sign in, and provide credit card details. Registration also allows you to request lot information and share images with a third party. Absentee or Commission Bidding by Telephone An absentee bid is your maximum bid left with the auctioneer, who will execute it on your behalf to outbid competition and reach the reserve price. Pre-sale absentee bidding can be done on the website or using a form available during viewing. This form lets you leave a max bid or participate via telephone. Our staff will call before your lot is sold if you choose phone bidding. You can indicate a cover bid on the form in case of a phone connection failure.
