Description
9 1/2”H x 5 3/4”W x 6 1/4”D. Antique brass kerosine lantern that was used on a carriage or automobile, possibly for a Model A Ford or a horse-drawn buggy. This model 1132 lantern includes two glass beveled windows, one that opens with a clasp and a red jewel centered on one side. Inscription on base suggests it was patented in 1909. Wear is consistent with age and includes tarnishing of the brass, dents, and some scratches on the glass.
