12" x 6.5" dia. Likely early 20th century Chinese bronze vase with swing handles, a floral relief design, and three champlevé enamel bands with different Chinese floral and cloud motifs as well as a scene depicting people approaching the emperor on a palanquin in a garden. There are some irregularities due to the handmade quality of the vase, such as uneven textures in the stamped floral relief on the bronze and variations in width on the bronze bands. The champlevé enamel is also pockmarked due to the process through which it is melted into the metal. Other wear includes spots of discoloration due to age and tarnish, as well as some other marks.
