This lot is for a fantastic 1906 Chilocco Indian School Football Team Photograph. The team is posing in their C adorned sweaters, with an adorable young Native American Boy mascot, who is holding a melon football painted with Chilocco '06. The back of the cabinet has the player's names identified as well as the mascot. The board measures 9 by 12 inches, and has an area of loss at its right corner. A great early Native American football team photograph, from the time that Jim Thorpe was just about to get his football career started at the Carlisle Indian School.
