the first with tapering blade double-edged towards the point, formed with a scalloped back-edge and a short fuller on each face, natural staghorn grip fitted with a silver plaque on the side and top of the pommel each decorated with traditional scrollwork, in its silver-mounted scabbard decorated en suite, the second for a piper, with etched blade by Robert Mole, Birmingham, carved basket-weave grip with white metal ferrule and iron cap pommel, in its iron-mounted scabbard
