Description
Here is an amazing Vintage 1960s Native American Cochiti Pueblo Pottery Bowl. It measures 5 inches tall X 9 inches wide. It has a white wash glaze with black pattern design. The design is perfectly made all around to include a spectacular pattern as pictured above. The design and make is classic for Cochiti Pottery. It is in really great condition with no chips, no cracks and no repairs. It has minimal paint wear for the age circa 1960. This is an extremely rare nearly impossible to find item. It was made by well known Cochiti Artist George Cordero son of famous artist Helen Cordero. George passed away in 1990 at a young age of 36. So he did not produce that many pieces in his lifetime most of which are Storyteller Figures. So Georges pottery bowls and vases are rare. This makes for a eye catching display piece and made by a top award winning Pueblo Artist. Please email any questions.
