10”h., Deep emerald green, lead glass, ovoid shaped body with cylindrical neck, flared out at the mouth, pattern molded in 8 heavy pillars, vertical with slight swirl then swirling tightly around the upper neck and mouth, polished pontil ; America or Great Britain , c. 1860-70, possibly Pittsburgh or New England, mint condition; beautiful glass, it rings like a bell, and this shade of emerald has a decided deep blue green tone, a very decorative piece of pillar molding !
