Needlework on silk image with images of eagle on a cactus with a snake, horses, deer, birds, squirrels, flowers with urns on bases, and a fancy lady. Initialed D. M. A. O. It has colorful stitching and is possibly related to the Mexican-American War. Possibly made in Boston. Sight size 21" x 28", overall 29 1/2" x 39 1/2" in a gilt modern frame. Has slight damage to silk approximately 10 small holes and tearing to the top edge of the silk
