Autographed Photograph of Six First Ladies
1990s, including Lady Bird Johnson, Betty Ford, Rosalyn Carter, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush and Hillary Clinton, presented on board with calligraphic presentation inscription to B.A. Bentsen and autographed by each First Lady.
Matted, glazed and framed.

There is an area, about 2-1/2" wide and 1-1/4" high, on the lower edge of the photograph, covering roughly the area of the words "beautiful evening" and the signatures of Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush that appears to have been touched up with white paint (gouache? Liquid Paper?) to cover a water stain. The touch up is carefully applied to avoid covering any of the actual lettering, only bleeding to the calligraphy. However, the water damage has significantly faded the last two letters of "Reagan", and the entire first name of "Barbara"; the letters "Barb" of the latter have been enhanced/over-written in blue ink. All the other signatures and the photograph itself are without any issues.
