Influential design duo Michael English and Nigel Weymouth, known as Hapshash and the Coloured Coat, produced this psychedelic poster promoting several concerts at the Middle Earth Club in London scheduled for March and April 1968. The artists mentioned include Pink Floyd, Tim Buckley, Roy Harper, Family, Moody Blues, Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Arlo Guthrie, Soft Machine, Brian Auger and Julie Driscoll, and Fairport Convention. Hapshash and the Coloured Coat produced hallucinogenic designs for multiple English bands throughout the late 1960s, and their posters have become highly desirable.
